DIY Paper Lantern

It's all about celebration. At Chinese New Year celebration, we can see lanterns every where. We can make simple and pretty lantern from papers. It easy and no need a lot of tools. Lets make simple lantern, just for fun !

What we need, Paper craft, Scissor, Paper-Glue and String/Yarn + needle

How to make the lantern :

• Cut the paper square shape.
• Fold in 8, it will shape like triangle (Step 1 to 3)
  
• Cut the edges (Step 4).
  
• Then cut line from right, then from the left side. 
• Cut till the top of the triangle. (Step 5)
• Unfold the paper. You'll get 8-side shape.
• Make another one. To make a lantern it need 2 of the 8-side shape.
• Glue the two shape together.
• Then put the string in top of one shape.
• Pull the shape a little bit.
• Done...
